The Laura Dail Literary Agency Inc., incorporated in 1996, is a small, full-service literary agency, representing fiction and nonfiction, commercial and literary, for both adults and children. We represent a wide range of diverse authors, including bestselling authors of children’s fiction, award-winning journalists, historians, chefs, and humorists.
We provide thoughtful attention at every stage of a book’s life—from editorial to marketing to sales and the licensing of subsidiary rights. We are the author’s partner and advocate for the life of the book, and we love it.
Laura Dail graduated from Duke University and received her Master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College. She has served on the board of the Association of Authors Representatives (AAR) and currently chairs the AAR Royalties Committee.
Over the years, the agency has represented just about every kind of book, and represented dozens of bestsellers. Laura’s now especially interested in high-concept fiction and serious non-fiction.
Laura also edited TRULY YOURS, a gift book about adoption.
